Bar Collection:

Designed in 1934, the Bar collection is the work of Rudolf Eschler, one of Moser’s most successful designers. His creations played a prominent role in the crystal house’s exhibitions at the World’s Fairs in Chicago, Brussels, and Paris. As for its design, the substantial square base gives each piece in the collection remarkable stability, while reflections of light dance across its curves. To achieve this delicate balance, Moser’s master glassmakers use a unique technique: the crystal is shaped with tremendous force before its edges are meticulously hand-cut. The result? A collection that has captivated its owners for nine decades. And rightfully so. Because it’s not just what you drink, or who you drink it with, that matters. The glass you drink from is just as important. Since 1934, this celebrated Bar collection has been admired, and deservedly so, by those who appreciate the art of fine living, fine spirits, and crystal glassware. Today, you have the opportunity to join them by treating yourself to the prestige of owning a piece from this exceptional collection.

Craftsmanship:

Crafted from authentic Bohemian crystal, mouth-blown, hand-cut, and hand-polished using the same traditional techniques since 1857, the year Moser was founded. Since then, Moser has remained faithful to its manufacturing methods: no automated machinery is used. And every step takes place in Moser’s workshops in Carlsbad, in the Bohemia region of the Czech Republic.

Our philosophy behind offering this Bar collection: Buy less, but buy better.

90% of pieces marketed as “Bohemian Crystal” online are, in reality, counterfeits from China or Poland. Others simply aren’t made using traditional handcrafted techniques. All in the pursuit of offering crystal pieces at the lowest possible prices. We’ve chosen the opposite approach: offering pieces that are admittedly expensive, but certified as genuine Bohemian crystal. This Bar collection is handcrafted in Moser’s workshops in Carlsbad, in the Bohemia region of the Czech Republic, following the traditional artisanal techniques that have earned this crystal house its worldwide reputation since 1857.
